Club MoBay VIP Arrival and Departure Service

Club MoBay VIP Arrival and Departure Service is simply a "MUST" do when booking a trip to Jamaica.  It is the best way to stay relaxed from arrival to departure.  Here is what to expect:

Arrival:  Shortly after you exit the plane you will see a large sign that reads “Club MoBay”.  Under that sign you will see an individual holding a placard with your name.  Once you have been greeted, your guide will ask you to step aside for a moment and ask to see your customs/ immigration card that you filled out on the plane. They may also need to see your passport and travel itinerary, so be sure to keep all these in your document wallet for easy access.  Your guide will look over your form to be sure all information is correctly filled out and have you make any corrections, if needed.  Once the form is approved, they will escort you past the line of people waiting to have their forms inspected and on to the VIP Immigration line. Your guide will stay with you in line and then step aside when you are called up to the Immigration counter. After you clear immigration, your greeter will escort you to the luggage area and assist you with your luggage and then on to the VIP Customs line.  Once again they will wait with you in line and then step aside as you talk to the Customs agent.  After you have cleared customs, you will be escorted to check-in with your transfer company or your hotel.

If booked with private transfers (we only sell transfers with Jah Mekya Tours), your guide will escort you on to the Club MoBay lounge. This is when your guide will leave you.  Please feel free to tip your guide for their service, we typically tip $5 per couple.   While in Club MoBay you can relax and enjoy some rum punch, cold beer or other non-alcoholic beverages as well as some light snacks.  They have free WiFi, so if you want to use it just ask your server for the pass code.  When you are ready to depart exit the glass doors to the left and look for your driver holding the Jah Mekya tours sign.  If in doubt about how to find your driver, please ask the person watching your bags, he/she will be sure to point you to the right exit doors.

If booked with Sandals or Couples,  and you are taking their complimentary airport transfers, your guide will escort you to the resort lounge so you can check-in with the resort.  This is when your guide will leave you.  Once you have checked in, please ask them how long the before the shuttle departs.  If it will be a few minutes, let them know you can be found at the Club MoBay, then head on over to the Club MoBay lounge. They will come and get you when it is time for you to board the shuttle van.

Departure:  When you arrive at the airport, it can be a bit chaotic.  Try to relax and know you have plenty of time as you are a VIP.  First thing you do when you arrive at the airport is locate the check-in counter for your airline.  As soon as you enter the airport, look up at the monitor and you will see what number counter your airline will be located. You will need to use the airline kiosk to check-in, pay for your bags and print your boarding passes.  Then you are to get in line so you can drop your bags with the counter agent.  Once you have checked-in and have your boarding pass you will proceed to towards security where you will see another big sign that says “Information Club MoBay”.  Do keep your passports and your boarding passes in your hand as you will need those to clear security.  No need to stop at the desk Club MoBay desk, just show your tickets to the attendant at the “Fast Track” entry.  You will escorted to the VIP security line. Once you have cleared security, proceed up the escalator and thru the Duty Free Shop.  After you clear the shop, turn right and walk until aisle turns left.  Proceed up the aisle and you will see the Club MoBay sign on your left.  There will be an attendant at the entrance of the lounge that will greet you and ask to see your Club MoBay ticket.  While you are in the lounge you will be able to enjoy a wide variety of foods and sweet treats, as well as full bar service.  All drinks including wine, mixed drinks and beer are included.  If your server takes good care of you, please be sure to tip them.

There is a monitor in each lounge with flight departure information, I advise to double check it when you arrive to be sure all information is still correct.   The receptionist will announce when it is boarding time for your flight, but I also advise keeping an eye on the time, and checking the monitor as well.

You may leave the lounge at any time, and you are welcome to come back in.  Just be sure to ask the receptionist for a reentry pass
