Once you have completed the forms, print them out and put them in your document wallet.
Be sure all information is printed clearly. If not legible, you will have to fill out the form by hand at the airport.
When you go thru immigration, the immigration officer will stamp your passport, tear off half of the print out and will put the other half back in your passport. It is IMPERATIVE that you keep that portion in your passport. I advice tri-folding it, so it won’t tear, and it also makes it easier to store in your passport. If you lose this, you could be forced to pay up to $200 when you depart from Mexico. So don’t lose it!
When your flight attendant comes around, tell her/him you only need the Customs form as you did the immigration form online. You must still fill this form out on the plane, so be sure to keep that pen I gave you in your document wallet J
