We chose the above photo because the first thing we want to tell our clients when it comes to a time share presentation is, "RUN"!! Do not go to them, do not even be tempted to attend them!
As your agent, we have already alerted the resort that you are not to be bothered by the time share representatives, but even our best efforts don't always hold the "Sharks" at bay.
There are several tactics that are used to get you to attend these meetings:
Your transfer driver may give you a piece of paper saying that you need to attend a resort orientation and to turn that paper in when you attend. The driver gets a kick back for getting you to attend. You do not have to attend. You do however need to check in with the transfer company 48 hours before your flight home to reconfirm your pick up time. Do this at your own time preference.
Your resort may offer credits or coupons and the person checking you in, will hand you off to another person that wants to take you aside and sit down with so they can tell you about the coupons and the resort. Just tell them you want the coupon book and you are not interested in attending a time share presentation. They will try to convince you that you should attend. Be firm and let them know you are not interested.
The time share representatives may seek you out and ask you to attend with a promise for a free tour or spa credits. They may even try to guilt you into attending, by saying they will be fired, or they get a bonsu if you just attened. They will tell you it is only a 90 minute presentation. Do not be tempted. The presentation is very stressful, high pressure and if you do not sign with them they representative may even become rude and belligerent. It is just not worth your precious vacation time to deal this.
If you have politely refused and you continue to be approached, please let us know, and we will contact the resort and let them know to STOP.
Thank you for heeding our advice, as your best interest is always our first concern.
